Intense weekend of sports and emotions at the facilities of the Real Club de Tenis Coruña with the first edition of a tournament with a vocation for the future.
Tomy Currás and Eva Álvarez were the winners in the absolute categories of the Jael Jewelry Wooden and Silver Racket Trophy, which celebrated its first edition by distributing 3,000 euros in prizes. Currás was superior in the final of the men’s category, winning 6/3 and 6/2 over Iago Álvarez. There was more equality in the decisive match of the women’s draw, in which Eva Álvarez was the winner with a score of 6/4 and 7/6 over Ainara Vegal.
In veterans +45 Eduardo Serrano took the championship when his rival, Francisco Javier Rodríguez, retired, when the match was going 7/5 and 2/1. In veterans +55, Alfonso Chico won 6/4 and 6/4 against Serafín Afonso. In veterans +60 Bruno Otero was the best, beating José Deus 6/1 and 7/5, while in mixed open Bello Domínguez beat Francisco Ramírez (6/0 and 6/0). In fingerlings, the winners were Jacobo Gómez and Noa Pena; in benjamines, the best were Leo Sánchez and Lenda Vázquez. The winner of the cadet category was Alejandro Vizoso and in junior, Ian Rodríguez.
