The Jael Golf Cup will be played this weekend at the Real Aeroclub de Santiago course in Ames with the support of Garmin.
The Club’s individual championship will be held over two days, Friday 10 (or Saturday 11) and Sunday 12. Registration is open until Thursday 9 (for Friday departures) or Friday 10 (for Saturday departures). Registrations must be made in writing to the e-mail address recepcion@aerosantiago.es.
The playing formula will be 36 holes medal play scratch. Club members with a handicap may take part. On Friday or Saturday you will be able to choose the time and departure at the time of registration. On Sunday, the start will be in reverse order of the scratch classification of the first day, with the possibility of organizing scratchand handicap star games (shotgun start or two tees, at the discretion of the Competition Committee).
The registration fee, 20€, includes the green fee, tee gift and participation in the raffle and trophy presentation cocktail. Prizes will be awarded to the champion (a silver trophy and a vest) and runner-up (a silver trophy and a box of balls) in scratchand handicap. Among the participants attending the cocktail, several gifts will be raffled, including an Approach Golf watch from Garmin, a company that supports the celebration of the event.
Children’s Championship
The children’s championship will be held on Saturday, in the categories of 18 holes (cadet and alevin), 9 holes (benjamín) and 9 holes initiation. The winners of each segment will win a watch, among other gifts.
