One of the great surfing events of the world calendar returns to Valdoviño: the Pantin Classic Surf Pro will be held from August 15 to 23 in this emblematic sandy area of A Coruña.
Once again, Jael Joyería and TAG Heuer are sponsors of the event and, as in previous years, will be present with a stand on the beach.
Once again, the event has an enormous competitive level. More than 140 surfers have already registered for the competition, in both male and female categories. In this edition, Johanne Defay (Reunion Island), Joan Durú (France) and Aritz Aranburu (Basque Country), who are positioned as the favorites for the victory, will compete.
But surfers such as Maxime Huscenot (France), Maud Le Car (France), Teresa Bonvalot (Portugal), Garazi Sanchez (Basque Country), Vasco Ribeiro (Portugal), Luis Diaz (Canary Islands) Jonathan Gonzalez (Canary Islands), Ariane Ochoa (Basque Country), Nadia Erostarbe (Basque Country) and Gony Zubizarreta (Galicia) among others will also be present.
They will be joined by the champions and runners-up, in male and female categories, of the Galician Regional Open, which will take place on August 15 and 16.
But not only will you be able to enjoy the best international surfing, but during the days of competition there will be different activities of the Pantín Eco-Logic project, with the intention of teaching the importance of taking care of our beaches and recycling, among many other things.
