Jael Jewelry joins the list of sponsoring companies of Xacobeo 21-22 , participating as official sponsor in sports, entertainment, cultural, musical and scenic activities that are held within the framework of the institutional program.
The Xacobeo, which on this occasion has been extended for two years, is called to mark a milestone in the economic recovery of the Community. By virtue of the agreement that links the Galician Tourism Agency and Jael, the jeweler will support the activities organized within the umbrella of Xacobeo 21-22, together with the rest of the thirty entities that support the event. Among them are several of the most important Galician companies. The director of Jael Jewelry, José Mª Fernández, considers “an honor to support this event, called to be the lever on which Galicia will get out of the deep crisis left by the coronavirus pandemic”.
Since its foundation, Jael has been a company known for its involvement in the dissemination of grassroots sports and culture, so the support for the activities framed in the Holy Year program “is a logical step forward and one that we had to take. We believe that this moment is ideal to give visibility to our land, to show the world what we are capable of and how much talent we Galicians treasure. What less than to support the great showcase that this Xacobeo is going to be for Galicia”, affirms the person in charge of Jael.
The thirty sponsors of Xacobeo 21-22 will inject more than 20 million euros into the official program. The president of the Xunta de Galicia, Alberto Núñez Feijóo, recognizes the importance of these private contributions: “Thank you for materializing your unequivocal support for a fundamental event for Galicia, for Spain, for our western culture and for the whole world”, said the Friday at the presentation of the sponsors . Feijóo described the event as a “country event, which requires everyone and has a brand: the Galicia brand”. At the same event, Vice President Alfonso Rueda described the representatives of the sponsoring companies as “first pilgrims of this Xacobeo 21-22”, called to once again place Galicia in the international foreground.
